Turning Knowledge into Action- YASID’s SRH Follow-Up Session in Mithachari, Katir Mata, Cox’s Bazar
Mithachhari, Cox’s Bazar | 10 August 2026
YASID conducted its second Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) follow-up session in Mithachari Kathir Matha on 10 August 2026, bringing together 25 women and adolescent girls, including new mothers.
The session focused on reviewing previous learning and creating space for participants to share their experiences and reflect on women’s health and well-being after marriage. Discussions covered the importance of proper nutrition, adequate rest, and physical and emotional care, while also exploring the health risks that may arise when women lack adequate support and care.
A key discussion point was the importance of engaging men in reproductive health awareness. Participants reflected on how shared knowledge, open communication, and joint responsibility can contribute to healthier relationships and more supportive families.
Through regular follow-up sessions and community-based dialogue, YASID continues to promote informed decision-making, strengthen reproductive health knowledge, and encourage healthier and more supportive practices within communities.
